Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation facilities offer a huge variety of summer day camps and youth activities. For example, the Holladay Lions Recreation Center at 1661 East Murray-Holladay Road offers summer youth programs in self defense, karate, dance, tumbling, teen fitness and art. At the School of Rock locations in Sandy and Park City, students can participate in a one-week “summer boot camp” where they will speed-learn new songs, play with a band, write music and learn the basics of recording.
